LASER SENSORS MEASURE THE HEIGHT OF MANY OBJECTS

Laser measurement sensors are often used for height measurements

This broad category encompasses a variety of non-contact applications where laser measurement sensors are used to measure the height of targets that pass beneath a stationary sensor.  Long distance laser rangefinders can also be used for height measurement applications, such as measuring the height of a dam.
