How to Output Real-Time Data from Your Touch Panel Display to an External System Posted in: Product Tutorials

In this tutorial video we show you how to output real-time data from your touch panel display to an external system. We use our 8″ touch panel display for this tutorial, but our 7″ touch panel display also has this ability. We also use two AR700 Laser Displacement Sensors; two serial-to-USB cables, or just one if your PC already has a serial port on it; a RS232 null modem; and also a program that can collect the data from the touch panel display. We use a free open-source terminal emulator named Tera Term, which you can find for free online.
