The AS2100 Accurate Distance Sensor is often selected for measuring and controlling the level of molten metal in a furnace. It performs better on hot targets due to the sensor’s phase mixing technology. The sensor also boosts an impressive linearity of +/- 1 mm over the full range of 100 meters and can measure fill levels at speeds up to 250 Hz.
